Zam is the founder and director of Artivism. He works at the intersections of applied theatre, community engagement, drama education, and performance-making for over 14 years. He is also an Arts for Good fellow with the Singapore International Foundation. He has directed, performed, and produced in productions and festivals, both locally and abroad. Beyond the stage, he engages with social service agencies from children and youth, eldercare, and vulnerable population sectors. His multifarious creative and cultural endeavours are deeply rooted in the core pursuit of communicating truths with dignity, discernment, and care through an artistic lens.
